LIMOV completes the Construction Engineering Service for our client, PT Wijaya Karya Beton (Persero) Tbk. Our scope of works are structural analysis and modification of LIANDO Box-Segmental Launching Gantry LG-S40 to higher lifting capacity for the project Jalan Layang Kereta Api Medan-Binjai (JLKAMB).
This is very challenging project because the old LIANDO LG-S40 was designed for smaller capacity. LIMOV review all mechanical components and structural details of the LG and redesign several parts in order to achieve the required capacity. JLKAMB main contractor is PT Hutama Karya and Pilar Perkasa KSO. Once finished, it will cut the travel time from Medan to Binjai and improve economy of both area.
