1966
Liuzhou Construction Machinery Company was founded in Liuzhou, Guangxi province, China. The company designed and built the first prestressing jack in China. From this humble beginning, it has been continuously growing and spinning off several subsidiaries.
The OVM group of companies provides products and services for large-scale constructions in China and around the world, from bridges to nuclear power plants.
2002
The company was restructured to become Liuzhou OVM Machinery Co., Ltd. The OVM group’s business lines are:

> Seismic isolation bearing,
> Heavy lifting and moving equipments,
> Structural monitoring.
2010
OVM joined Liugong Group. Liugong is a chinese state-owned enterprise and one of the largest construction equipment manufacturer in the world.
2024
LIMOV was appointed as OVM’s partner for the heavy lifting business in Indonesia.

LSD SERIES
The OVM LSD Strand Jack is integrated system of multidisciplinary technologies: mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and digital control. All these technologies are combined to achieve lifting of super-large and super-heavy construction object.
Strand Jack is the most efficient heavy liting tool now. No other mechanical system can match its capacity per weight ratio. It works based on prestressing hydraulic principle which is basically OVM business in the last 50 years.

^ OVM Hydraulic Gantry for heavy lifting and moving inside confined space.
One of the biggest challenge in heavy lifting is to lift and move large heavy object inside confined space. For example, lifting a large power plant turbine during shutdown inside the plant building that cannot be accessed by crane.
OVM Hydraulic Gantry is the safest and most efficient machine for this kind of job. It is modular and can be assembled in short time. The Gantry comes with rail system for moving the heavy load to its position.
