LIMOV completed the Engineering Design and Construction of Form Traveller for ATJ Cable-stayed Bridge in East Kalimantan. The main contractor is PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.
LIMOV is the first company in the world to design the Hybrid Form Traveler used in this project. Usually, Form Traveller for Cable-stayed Bridge is either underhung or overhead type. Due to the problem and constraint of available used Traveller in ATJ project, we designed and built a hybrid type which is partly overhead and partly underhung to save weight and significantly reduce dead load to the bridge structure.
