We just completed the erection of Becakayu Toll Road bridge in Ahmad Yani, West Bekasi. Main contractor is PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and crane vendor is PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk. This is the largest superlift ever done in the heart of a metropolitan city like Bekasi.
This project used two superlift cranes: Liebherr LR 1750/2 750 tons and SANY SCC8000A 800 tons. The erection planning and execution are very challenging since the location in Ahmad Yani street Bekasi is one of the busiest road in Indonesia. We also must work during the height of Covid-19 pandemic.
The Becakayu Toll Road (Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu) is the solution to reduce traffic jam along the very busy route between Jakarta and Bekasi. Once it is completed, it will benefit many people by reducing time wasted on the streets. LIMOV is very proud to take part in this project that brings better quality of life to many people.
